In the presentation of her collection for the spring/summer 2024 season, Maria Grazia Chiuri has highlighted the importance of the color black as the protagonist. he event featured a giant LED screen displaying women-related images and messages such as «I am not just a mother, a wife and a daughter, I am a woman,» created by Italian artist Ellena Bellantoni, adding an extra touch to the show, transmitting a powerful and essential message.
The collection, in line with the creative director’s vision, combines comfort, sophistication and elegance. Among the featured pieces, there is a reinterpretation of the shirt with an asymmetrical neckline, the traditional double-breasted trench coat, ideal for those rainy spring days, midi dresses with transparencies and culottes with tights, reaffirming the «no pants» trend. Likewise, comfortable footwear is presented, with a bit of a heel and also flat, such as classic ballet flats or biker boots.
